This guide will introduce you to Gellatte's and our franchisee selection process. Here, you'll find information about the company and our unique, new franchise opportunity. Our franchisee selection steps have been created to offer both you and Gellatte's the opportunity to fully evaluate a possible relationship and determine that there is the potential for a good fit and a good future. We are sure that as you learn about Gellatte's and our unique concept, you will become more and more excited.
There will be three different types of domestic franchise opportunities available:
Single Unit License - this license grants an individual or entity the right to own and operate an individual Gellatte's in an approved business location.
Area Units License - this license grants an individual or entity the right to own and operate multiple Gellatte's locations within a specific territory.
Regional License - this license grants an individual or entity the right to assist Gellatte's in developing a specific and exclusive territory. The regional license would allow an individual or entity the right to provide hands-on assistance in recruiting and providing support to a region's new franchisees. On an ongoing basis, the Regional franchisees would remain available to support local franchisees and receive a portion of the total franchise fees and royalties collected in their territories. The Regional franchisee would also own and operate their own units and have adequate capital and resources available to fulfill their responsibilities as franchisees.
Gellatte's currently does not include Regional franchising in our portfolio, but this is an opportunity that could be considered should the right conditions exist.
